It is prefaced with: "...These letters are supposed to be written...towards the close of the 18th century by a young American who is stimulated by curiosity to pay a visit to the country of his ancestors. The seat of government is transferred to America, and England is an almost deserted, depopulated nation...".
The top of page 4 has a small advertisement for a book: "The Present State of Liberty in Great Britain and America".
