THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Oct. 27, 1761  Page 6 has most of a column of reporting headed: "America" with datelines from Boston, Charleston, and New York, as well as a letter from Fort Augusta, all relating to the French & Indian War. The report ends with: "...Some of the Creeks are under apprehensions that the Spaniards intend to march a body of men against them from St. Augustine, to revenge the mischief they have received from these Indians, who have lately killed and taken a great many Spaniards."
