More than a column on page 4 is news taken from an: "Extract of a Letter from an Officer in North America" which notes in part: "...with regard to the growth & influence of Popery over the North American Indians...Throughout North America the English have but one Chapel, and but one missionary amongst the Indians...The French have many Indian chapels, and a great number of very able and zealous missionaries. Our Indian interest hath been for years decreasing--the French increasing..." with more on this.
Eight pages, 8 by 10 3/4 inches, very nice condition.
