The front page has a one column heading: "CHICAGO ROARS A WELCOME TO CHAMPION CUBS" with subhead and tiny map. The back page has a great banner team photo. (see) Coverage on the 1938 Chicago Cubs winning the National League pennant. They would face the New York Yankees in the World Series in which they lost.
Complete with 28 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. In great condition as such, a few small binding holes at the spine.
