DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Sept. 7, 1847  Page 3 has: "The Position of Our Army in the Field" which has over half a column reporting on the Mexican War, including mention of General Taylor and General Scott (bit close-trimmed at the very top here).
Also: "Larger From Gen. Scott's Army" has two-thirds of a column taken up with the latest reports on the Mexican War, prefaced with: "...The only facts which seem unquestionable are the repulse & plunder of our detachment at the National Bridge, and the advance of General Scott's forces towards Mexico...".
Four pages, nice condition.
