THE EUROPEAN MAGAZINE, London, June, 1800 Formatted much like the more popular Gentleman's Magazine of the era, but this is a more rare title.
Perhaps the dominant feature of this issue would be the two full page engravings still present, the first: "A Portrait of Tippoo Sultaun" [aka Tipu Sultan & Tiger of Mysore] with a related article: "Tippoo Sultan, Late Sovereign of Mysore" taking over 5 pages. The other nice engraving is titled: "Cape of Good Hope" showing 5 ships in the foreground. A related article as well.
Complete in 80 pages, 5 by 8 1/4 inches, full title/contents page, great condition.
