Page 3 has an article about the "Mammoth Flag" that reports: "The mammoth American ensign which now streams...from the...Clay pole in front of the office of the Baltimore Patriot, is 60 feet long and 40 feet wide, containing 2400 square feet of bunting. It was manufactured at...Hooper & Chesbrough, Bowley's Wharf. It is the largest flag now in the United States...".
