Under "New Negotiations" is a message from the President transmitting a document to the Senate, signed in type: John Adams. Hereafter is the document (actually a letter) signed in type: Ch. Mau. Talleyrand, & another related letter to the Senate on pg. 2, signed in type: John Adams. This relates to the XYZ Affair & would lead to the Quasi-War.
Listed under "Board of Health" is: "Paul Revere, Esq. President." Page 2 also has: "Truxton's Victory"
Four pages, slightly irregular at the spine, generally good condition.
