John Hancock... Knox is Secretary of War....
THE CONTINENTAL JOURNAL & WEEKLY ADVERTISER, Boston, March 17, 1785 The entire front page is taken up with the continued: "History of America, by William Robertson".
Page 3 has a report noting in part: "...that Williamsburgh in Virginia, has ben fixed upon as the place for holding the federal Court instituted for setting the controversy at present depending between this state and Massachusetts..." with more.
Also: "Congress...were pleased to appoint Major General Knox Minister of war...".
Then: "His Excellency's Speech" signed in type: John Hancock. This is filled by a Resolve from Congress signed in type; Charles Thomason. This is followed by a document concerning a bridge across the Charles River, signed in type by: John Hancock, among others.
Four pages, very nice condition.
