DAILY RECORD, Boston, May 4, 1933  The entire front page and much of pages 2, 3 & 4 are taken up with the kidnapping of ten year-old heiress Margaret McMath on Cape Cod. It was the sensation of the day which captured national attention much the same way the similar Lindbergh baby kidnapping did the year prior. Boston being the closest major city to Cape Cod, it is not surprising much content is focused on this case.
