THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Feb. 4, 1908
* Early example of Chicago gangland crime ?
* Italian Mafia - "Black Hand" in it's infancy
Page 2 has a two column heading: "BLACK HAND IS VISIBLE IN A CHICAGO CRIME" with subhead. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 8 pages, small library stamp within the masthead, small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
