The top of page 12 has a two column photo of Fred Merkle with brief text. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 18 pages, small library stamps within the masthead, a little irregular along the spine, generally very nice.

wikipedia notes: Fred Merkle, nicknamed "Bonehead", was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball from 1907 to 1926. Although he had a lengthy career, he is best remembered for a controversial base-running mistake he made while still a teenager.
