NEW YORK TRIBUNE, August 25, 1861  A wealth of war reporting on the front page with column heads including: "THE WAR FOR THE UNION" "Trouble Among the Rebels" "Changes In Commanders" "Peace-Secession Troubles" "A Fight at Fairfield" "From Fortress Monroe" "A Shell In the Enemy's Camp" "The Battle of Charleston" and more.
The ftpg. also has a report headed: "The California Pony Express" datelined at 95 miles west of Fort Kearney.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, minor wear at margins, good condition.
