ARIZONA DAILY GAZETTE, Phoenix, June 16, 1893  The front page has a column headed with a great report on the near-capture of notorious horse thief and train robber, Henry Starr. The heads: "STARR SURROUNDED" "The Train Robber in a Close Place" "Is Surrounded by a Marshall's Posse" "And May Have to Give Up or Be Killed by the Officers".
The report notes in part: "Henry Starr, the notorious train robber and bank wrecker, is surrounded...Unless the posse weakens, Starr be taken, either dead or alive. The reward is $10,000..." with more.
Also on the ftpg is an article headed: "THE TWO BEHANS", one being John Behan, the lawman at the time of the 'Gunfight at the OK Corral'. Also a small bit about the outlaw gang Sontag & Evans.
Eight pages, some chipping at the bottom margin affects no text, small margin tears, a bit fragile.
