THE REPERTORY, Boston, July 20, 1808 Page 2 has a detailed letter headed: "Acquittal of Gen. Wilkinson" on the court exonerating Gen. Wilkinson from charges of involvement in the Burr Conspiracy. It is signed in type by the court officials and by Th Jefferson, who approved the decision. It is prefaced with a satirical comment: "As astonishing as it may appear, it is a fact, that Gen. Wilkinson is acquitted. Read the following and be convinced."
