This uncommon Midwestern title has news of the day with many advertisements. Page 4 has an article headed: "Mrs. Hite to Testify Against Frank James" with subhead. (see) This trial of the brother of outlaw Jesse James, held in Gallatin, Missouri, was concerning his involvement in Winston Railroad robbery
This issue is not fragile as newsprint back then was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Complete in 10 pages, very nice condition.
