THE WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Jan. 29, 1814  Included is an article headed "Benedict Arnold" which is a piece in a British magazine prefaced with: "The famous general Arnold who abandoned the rebel service & joined our army at New York, wrote the following address to the inhabitants of America...Oct. 7, 1780." and what follows is the nearly full page letter signed in type: B. Arnold, in which he explains his traitorous actions, providing some interesting reading. 
There is also reporting on the War of 1812 & other items, including "The Embargo Law" "In Honor of the Brave", and documents signed in type by: H. Clay, James Madison, James Armstrong & James Monroe; "Prisoners at Worcester", and a section headed "Events of the War" with "Our Frigates" "Military" "Wilkinson's Army"  a letter signed in type by Stephen Decatur; "The Niagara Frontier" "Naval" "American Prizes" and more.
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 3/4 inches, some foxing, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
