CHICAGO SUNDAY TRIBUNE (Picture Section), March 11, 1934 The front page has a color illustration of St. Patrick, reprinted from William Smith Printseller, Philadelphia. It is a print of the painting which at the time was hanging in Saint Patrick's Church in Chicago, and which had survived the 1871 "Chicago Fire."
Other prints within this section include additional photos and images related to St. Patrick, Charles Lindbergh, the Girl Scouts, the Balkan-Turkish War, and a new type of airplane - the German Cyclogiro. See images for details.
This was shortly after the attempted assassination of Hitler.
