November 16, 1734
THE DAILY POST-BOY, London, Nov. 16, 1734
* Rare 18th century title
* Early Virginia report
The front page has a somewhat lengthy: "Humble Address of the Council in Assembly, to the Hon. William Gooch Esq., his Majesty's Lt.-Gov. of the Colony and Dominion of Virginia". This is followed by the governor's brief reply.
Nice to have American content on the front page of such an early dated newspaper.
Single sheet, 9 1/4 by 15 1/2 inches, great condition.
