THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, April 20, 1782  One-third of an inside page is taken up with: "Anecdotes of the Famous Westons, Who Robbed the Bristol Mails". The article begins: "Joseph and George Weston, apprehended on Wednesday...for robbing the Bristol mail in 1781...are two of the most remarkable depredators that have appeared in this country since the days of the famous Wild..." followed by details of their escapade. In September they would be hanged at Tyburn.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, 8 1/2 by 12 1/4 inches, nice condition.
