The back page has an absolutely wonderful, large, color print showing work from Walt's hand which depicts Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and several Dwarfs wishing readers of Merry Christmas. The "ad," measuring approximately 12" by 15 1/2", has Walt's printed signature. This ad is self-described as being sponsored by the thousands of families of the Standard Oil Company of California.
Although it is likely to have been printed in other newspapers, they would likely be restricted to regions served by the Standard Oil Company of California, and to-date, we have yet to find other titles who included this statement of appreciation.
The issue is complete in 26 pages, has a few minor edge tears and non-archival mends, but is in overall good condition. See images for details.
