The entire front page is taken up with ads, with much war news on pages 2 & 3 including: "Movements & Spirit of the War" "Important Advices From Tennessee--A Crisis" "The State of the Country--The President's Message" "Good News From the Army of the Shenandoah"; reports from "The Confederate Congress" "Telegraphic News" and more. There is also an interesting editorial concerning the Civil War, which touches in part upon the naval battle involving the ironclad Merrimac (see). Also a lengthy editorial on the war as well.
Much of the back page is taken up with various Acts of the Confederate Congress, many relating to the Civil War.
Complete as a 4 page newspaper, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
