THE WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, April 10, 1813  Page 3 has; "Massacre of  the Prisoners" which relates to the War of 1812 & more specifically the Battle of Raisin River, taking nearly 3 pages. Also: "Indian Talk" and "Cherokee Indians" which is a lengthy letter signed by two chiefs with their "X" and: "War of the Allies", the latter relating to the Battle of Raisin River.
Further on is a heading: "Events of the War" which takes nearly 4 pages with various reports.
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 3/4 inches, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
