THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, June 26, 1783  Page 2 continues with much reporting on the debates in the House of Commons, including: "...providing for the Loyalists, who had abandoned every thing for this country...the latest accounts from America he was informed...that Congress had not recommended the case of the Loyalists to the different states, & that frightened by the threats of the Rebels, these unfortunate people would be obliged for ever to quit the continent to escape the vengeance with which they were threatened for having been guilty of the crime of loyalty to this country..." and more. Further on has more from the House of Commons on how to treat the British soldiers in America.
Eight pages, 8 14 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
