THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, January 9, 1768  The previous issue included a warning on the front page making clear the penalties for Artificers and Merchants seeking cheaper labor, products, and materials from foreign locations outside the umbrella of The Kingdom - making it infinitely more difficult for those Artificers and Merchants following the regulations and laws of the land to be competitive. This issue is largely dedicated to the response of the loyal subjects indicating their great appreciation for the renewed emphasis in holding those breaking the law accountable. This historical account is certainly interesting in the face of current events.
