* Early Florida Everglades

The bkpg. has a very early article on: "The Everglades" which begins; "The Pay-hai-o-kee, grass-water of Everglades, comprises a large portion of Southern Florida...and separated from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico by a pine barren..." with more descriptive text.
Another page has: "Indian Treaty" concerning a treaty with the Sioux Indians, with the details.
Sixteen pages, 8 1/2 by 12 inches, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
