THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Aug. 6, 1668 A front page report from "Lyme" says: "Yesterday arrived the Concord...in six weeks from Barbado's [sic]....They tell us that the Inhabitants of Bridgetown are busily employing themselves for materials for rebuilding that place, and have emploied many ships for the transportation of timber from New England."
