Note the very ornate lettering in the masthead. The top of the front page has a "Proclamation" by the Philadelphia sheriff. Pages 2 & 3 contains a letter from South Carolina concerning: "...a minute detail of barbarities exercised in this state by his Britannic Majesty's forces...". Other news items and ads from this interesting period at the end of the Revolutionary War and before the creation of the federal government.
Four pages, archivally rejoined at the spine, various small tears & very minor chipping at the margins wit small archival mends here.
