THE NEW YORK TIMES, November 21, 1934

* Business Plot - political conspiracy
* Marine Corps major general Smedley Butler
* Coup d'état planned against Franklin D. Roosevelt

The top of the front page has a two column heading: "Gen. Butler Bares 'Fascist Pot' To Seize Government by Force" with subhead. (see) Lengthy text continues inside with photo of Smedley Butler.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 40 pages, light toning, a little margin wear, archival mend on the front page, address stamp in the masthead, generally good.

wikipedia notes: Retired U.S. Marine Corps officer Smedley Butler caused an uproar when he gave testimony before a House of Representatives committee on un-American activities in which he alleged a conspiracy among Wall Street interests to overthrow the Roosevelt Administration and replace it with a fascist dictatorship. This alleged conspiracy would come to be known as the Business Plot.
