LOUIS GLOBE-DEMOCRAT, June 19, 1875  Over half of the front page is taken up with reports on the hanging  executions of  3 criminals, headed: "THE GALLOWS" "Yesterday Proves a Black Friday for Three Murderers" "National Burgess Executed at Effingham, Ills." "Bad Case for John Casey at Paris, Ills." "Austin Hill Passes Through the Valley in North Carolina". An uncommonly lengthy about of text on the murderers and their executions.
Twelve pages, minor mend to the top of the back leaf, very nice condition.
