THE HAYES DAILY NEWS, Kansas, July 28, 1980  The banner headline is in reaction to the death of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi (the deposed Shah of Iran): "Militants say 'bloodsuckers' death won't matter," with a related photo. Another front page article has: "Families hopeful." Keep in mind this was during the Iranian hostage crisis which lasted 444 days.
The issue is complete in 14 pages and is in very good condition (see images). The top margin does include pen markings stating this issue was held by the Kansas State Historical Society.
