An inside page has a report from the "House of Representatives" has a nice account of the formal election of Andrew Jackson as President, noting: "The hour of one having arrived, the senate attended in the hall of the house of representatives...in the presence of the two houses  proceeded to open the votes of the electors in the several states for president and vice president of the United States..." and what follows is a detailed chart by state (see).
Another page has a "Military Order" signed  in type by: Andrew Jackson.
The front page has some nice content on "Gold" produced in North Carolina (see).
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 3/4 inches, nice condition.

This newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
