SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, December 26, 1874  The front page has "Railway Bridge Near York, England" with an accompanying article. Inside the issue is: "The Underground Railway in New York - The Great Arch Near 95th Street" [what appears to be the Mount Prospect Tunnel]; "Trying-Up and Four-Cutter Planing and Molding Machine"; "Iron-Framed Thrashing Machines"; and more illustrations, articles and advertisements.
Complete in sixteen pages, never bound, some rubbing on the last page and two binding holes punched in the left margin, otherwise in very good condition.
