THE EVANSVILLE JOURNAL, Indiana, May 13, 1873

* Bloody Benders
* Cherry Vale, Kansas
* Corpses discovered

This uncommon Midwestern title has news of the day with many advertisements. The front page has an article headed: "The Bender Family" "Great Excitement Over Increased Unearthings of Crime--A Little Girl Buried Alive" See image for text here.
This issue is not fragile as newsprint back then was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Complete in 4 pages, a little margin wear, nice condition.
Category: Post-Civil War

100% Authentic: Original printing, never a reproduction.
