THE DAILY UNION, Washington, D.C., March 2, 1847  Page 3 includes: "Army Intelligence - Latest From Tampico" which takes most of a column & is followed by: "From The Rio Grange" which is a letter datelined: "Brazos Santiago". Also: "From the Army in New Mexico" which has various subheads including: "Later from Santa Fe...Sufferings of Persons Returning to the States...Capt. Cook's Attack on El Passo--The Mormon Troops--Deaths at Santa Fe" (see).
Four pages, very nice condition.
