DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, Virginia, May 24, 1862

* Battle of Princeton Court House
* Siege of Corinth, Mississippi

A nice newspaper from the capital of the Confederacy. The front page has: "Heavy Skirmish in the Neighborhood of Richmond", with what appears to a lengthy related editorial on page two which states in part: "This is probably the eve of battle. All facts point to an approaching engagement...and we shall never find another time or another place with the same brilliant prospect of success...", and much more.

Other headings include: "Affairs Near Corinth", "The Soldier's Life", "the Maryland Line", "Destruction of the Virginia--Statement of Her Officers", "Movements & Spirit of the War", "Northern Account of Drury's Bluff", and more.
Complete as a single sheet issue, never bound nor trimmed, minor margin wear, foxing at the top margin, some creases.
