April 05, 1968
THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, Georgia, April 5, 1968  The front page features a nice banner headline announcing: "King Shot, Dies in Memphis; 4,000 Guards Sped to City" with subheads and 2 related photos. (see) Much related content on the front page & more inside including a full page pictorial. Great to have this first report on his death from the city where he was born and raised. Rare as such.
This is the complete first section (of 4) with pages 1-26. Minor margin wear, generally nice condition.
