In the bottom half of the front page is a one column headline: "JOHN DILLINGER ELUDES POSSES" with subhead: "Woman Sheriff Asserts She Will Shoot Him Through Head on Sight". This was one of the most famous escapes from a high security jail in United States history.
This is the "rag edition" printed on high quality newsprint for institutiontal use, which required paper that would last centuries. Very nice condition, 60 pages.
