THE MISSOURI REPUBLICAN, St. Louis, February 11, 1877

* Sea serpent sighting ?
* Honolulu - Hawaiian Islands

This uncommon Midwestern title has news of the day with many advertisements. The back page has an article headed: "The Latest Sea-Serpent" "A Story Which Comes From Honolulu" "A Monster Which Attacks a Brig and Is Shot At"
This issue is not fragile as newsprint back then was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Complete in 12 pages, nice condition.
Category: Post-Civil War

100% Authentic: Original printing, never a reproduction.
