October 21, 1893
THE GEORGETOWN X., Illinois, Oct. 21, 1893
* Very rare title (one of a kind ?)
Not only a strange title for a newspaper (what does it mean?) but an exceedingly rare issue as Gregory (Union List of American Newspapers) notes only one issue of this title was recorded in any institution--this very issue now in our possession. Formatted very much like other newspapers of the day with news & ads.
Four pages, browning at the margins, an archival repair at the central fold with an archival mend across the fold on pgs. 2 & 3, small library stamp at the top.
