* 1st Pennant since moving from Brooklyn
* It is BEST to have reports from the city where an event occurred
The bold banner headline in red ink announces: "WE'RE CHAMPS ! " with a related subhead and a large photo of the last game. This was their National League championship & they would go on to win the World Series over the Chicago White Sox, the first championship for the Dodgers since they moved out of Brooklyn the previous year. Great to have this report in a Los Angeles newspaper.
The outer leaves only of the first section with pages 1, 2, 21 & 22. Very minor margin wear, nice condition and a terrific item for display with the great graphic at the top of the page & the red ink in the headline.
