The bold headline announces: "WILL ROGERS OFF IN BIG START AS BEVERLY MAYOR" with subhead: "New Official Rides In State through Cheering Throngs" plus a photo of him. Will Rogers was the very first mayor (honorary) of Beverly Hills, from 1926-1928. Great to have this report in a local newspaper.
The complete first section with pages 1-8, the outer leaves printed on pink paper. Some minor tears at the right margin, nice condition.
