HARPER'S PICTORIAL HISTORY OF THE WAR WITH SPAIN, New York, 1898-1899

Typically 18 pages, with the rare outer wrappers, these issues were published by Harper Brothers at the end of the 19th century as a means of providing a contemporary account of the Spanish-American War. Included are multiple images and considerable supporting text. Most issues also have a displayable/frame-able full-page color print - rare for this pre-1900 era.  While the issue shown is Part 18 of the series, actual dates and content vary within 1898-1899.
