THE WASHINGTON POST, Washington, D.C., August 9, 1974  The best issues to be had for any political event would be the famous Washington Post. And this headline remains among the most historic in presidential history with a front page bold, banner head reading simply: "Nixon Resigns" and a 1 line, 6 column subhead: "Ford Assumes Presidency Today". The front page photo is captioned: "President Nixon and daughter Julie embracing Wednesday after the President's decision to resign."
The complete issue with all 3 sections, in very nice, clean condition.
A fine opportunity for one of the more significant political headlines of the 20th century, in a Washington, D.C. newspaper.
