* Color political prints

Puck was America's first successful humor magazine of colorful cartoon caricatures and political satire, publishing from 1871 until 1918. It was also the first to successfully adopt full color lithography printing for a weekly publication. The color prints are very desired for their displayability. This issue has as its political cartoons:
front page: "The National Knife-Grinder."
double-page centerfold: "The American Farmer--Where He Has to Sell, and Where He Has to Buy" has small rust stains at the staples.
back page: "Cupid's Stratagem." is not a political cartoon but rather a panel of 6 vignettes.
Complete in 16 pages, 14 by  10 1/2 inches, never bound nor trimmed, nice condition.
