SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, June 13, 1885  The entire ftpg. is a great, detailed illustration captioned: "The Statue Of Liberty As It Will Appear When Completed" showing it on its pedestal on Bedloe's Island, New York harbor. Inside are 1 1/2 pgs. of text and prints on the Statue, several showing the: "Elevation, Plans, and Sections of Pedestal, Showing Method of Anchoring the Statue." as well as showing the structural steel within the statue. A very nice issue offering a preview to the world, over a year before its dedication in 1886.
