* False report in World War II

This 10 page newspaper has a banner headline above the masthead: "Report Himmler Assassinated--Goering Wounded" which tells of the rumor the Heinrich Himmler has been killed by anti-Nazi revolutionists. Of course this report is false as he committed suicide at the end of the war in May of 1945. A nice curiosity item here.

Other news of the day including various advertising. This issue has light browning, minor margin wear, but is otherwise in good condition.
