July 08, 1789
THE MASSACHUSETTS CENTINEL, Boston, July 8, 1789 Over one-third of the front page is taken up with the celebration of the 4th of July. Pages 1 & 2 have reports from the federal legislature. Page 3 has an interesting article: "Thoughts Upon Titles" for state & federal officers (see images). An interesting topic from the founding year of the federal government.
Four pages, close-trimmed at the bottom affects the last line on all pages, otherwise nice condition.
