Page 2 has an interesting report about The Sub-Marine Telescope which used a camphine lamp placed in a glass globe, and sunk in the water. This allowed a person on the deck of a boat to examine the hull, plus other details. Says the instrument was invented by Sarah Mather of Brooklyn. Other news of the day includes: "A Flying Machine" "Texas" and more. 4 pages in nice condition.
