* 1825 Harvard University commencement
A back page report under Harvard University has some details about the recent commencement, mentioning in part that the degree of L.L.D. was conferred on the Hon. Henry Clay, Secretary of State. Also word that Lewis Cass, the governor of Michigan, received an honorary degree of L.L.D. at the commencement at Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y. Other news of the day. 4 pages in nice condition.
